Please join the market in welcoming Edward Wallo, the owner of Yorkville Cellars, for a tasting of 7 of his certified organic wines. We will also be serving several local artisan cheeses from Lake Erie Creamery and Blue Jacket Dairy, chosen specifically to compliment the selected pours. For the past seven years, Yorkville Cellars has been the most highly awarded certified organic estate vineyard in California. For the tasting, Edward will be offering 7 wines including his two reserve wines, Eleanor of Aquitaine and Richard the Lionhearted. He grows all 8 of the original Bordeaux varietals and each is bottled seperately as well as blended to make the two reserve wines.

There is so much to love about this band, homegrown roots, funky fresh vibes and music to make you melt...when it comes to review of the album , I just dont know where to begin! I'll start with the sweet, soulful and smooth vocals of Charles Valentino on the smoky track "Your are My Life". Then head on over to the magical way that DJ Jones makes that bass seep through your bones on "I didnt feel a thing". Take a trip down memoy lane with Just One Night hits then get ready for some certified funk with sick riffs a la Patrick Ashby on guitar in I'd follow you anywhere. With strong rhythmic grooves that aim to please (baby, baby, please!) Marble Park takes you on a first class trip to funkytown...just the way we like it!
My metal roots have stirred a longstanding disdain for pop music and any other form of bubblegum wrapped music (Screamo bands anyone?)
Bone breaking double bass, blood curdling screams, and lethal drum solos make metal entrancing. Metal has the power to bring people together. Walk into a metal show full of people you have never met before and as soon as the music hits you can find yourself moshing- arms to face to head to hands and if you fall down EVERYONE STOPS to pick you up. Thats the love in metal, thats the love of music, of the vibes of all people coming together through one sound.
It never ceases to amaze me how little interaction the general public has with Metal, when GWAR came to Columbus, I could hardly contain myself as I eagerly awaiting the green and red paint that would drench my body and leave me rainbow stained for at least a few days!
Its as though people cant see the love in metal. But if your are a fan, then you know. If your not a fan then you are missing out on some serious life changing music.
Local metal bands stand up and get in the faces of your fans, we're out here and we just can't get enough so keep it coming!
Here is a video of an up and coming kick ass metal band straight out of Columbus!
